Manus resumes independent operations after Meta deal collapses

Manus has resumed independent operations under its original founding team after Meta’s proposed acquisition of the company fell through. Manus said the transition involved backing up and restoring data before the company returned to normal operations.

The startup is now operating as an independent agent-focused AI company. Manus had previously attracted major investors including Tencent, ZhenFund and HSG, while the failed deal was reportedly valued at about $2 billion.
