Gmail for Android has added a small feature that users have been asking for for a long time: the ability to create labels to categorize emails.
Previously, this had to be done on the desktop version ( choosing label colors also had to be done on the desktop ).
This feature was previously available in Gmail for iOS, but has just been rolled out to Android users. Source – 9to5google
